Insider Claims PS3 Emulation Is In The Works For PlayStation Plus Premium

Last week, Sony revealed that its upcoming PlatStation Plus Premium would be combining Plus and Now into a single convenient package. Players are currently able to play PS3 games by streaming them, but some have begun speculating that people who subscribe to PlayStation Plus Premium will soon be able to run these natively. According to the reporter with VentureBeat Jeff Grubb, “since talking about this all week, I’ve looked, I’ve asked. It sounds like Sony might be working on emulation for PS3 on PS5.” In other words, keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming announcement.

Twitch Streamer Beats Elden Ring In Less Than 3 Hours Without Taking Any Damage

There have been some incredible runs of Elden Ring in recent weeks, but this one might just take the cake. The streamer calling themselves Seki has apparently managed to beat the game without taking any form of damage. “We got the run,” Seki said on Twitter. “First no-hit/ damage Elden Ring. Shouted my lungs out!” The streamer later explained what made this run so unique, noting that “no-hit/ no damage is harder than a regular no-hit run as the player cannot take environmental damage such as fall damage/ poison.” Seki described how “this adds difficulty to the run as I don’t have access to buffs such as Red-Feathered Branchsword which could potentially increase my damage output if I had low health.”

Ron Gilbert Says He’s Making A New Monkey Island

The legendary designer Ron Gilbert recently said that another Monkey Island game is in the works. The trick is that he said this on April Fool’s Day, so nobody really took him at his word. But the designer has been insisting that what he said was true. “For 18 years, the Grumpy Gamer blog has been April Fool’s Day-free because it’s a stupid tradition,” wrote Gilbert. “So, to mix things up a little, I’m taking this opportunity to announce I’ve decided to make another Monkey Island.” Does this mean that a new Monkey Island game is on the way? Maybe.

Player Beats Elden Ring In What Might Just Be The First Ever Pacifist Run

We found out today that not only has a player managed to beat Elden Ring without taking any damage, but another player has actually pulled off what could very well be the first ever pacifist run of the game. Somebody going by the name of Iron Pineapple posted the evidence of their accomplishment on YouTube, noting that “I’m not really the type to make celebration videos, so I just wanted to leave a comment here acknowledging the insanity of this channel reaching one million subscribers since the last video. As an anxious person who feels pretty undeserving of even a fraction of that, I don’t really know what to say. I really appreciate everyone who’s watched my videos and subscribed over the years and I hope that I can keep making things that are entertaining or worth your time.” Well played, Iron Pineapple. Well played.

Neo-Nazi Banned After Creating Chaos On The Galactic Hub In No Man’s Sky

When the player known as 7101334 founded the Galactic Hub in No Man’s Sky, they imagined a peaceful place where players could get together to build things. This worked out pretty well until a “neo-Nazi troll” with a username containing “two separate, unmistakable Nazi references” came along and ruined everything. “A neo-Nazi troll is griefing bases in the Galactic Hub and there’s nothing we can do,” 7101334 complained on Reddit. “The ‘Report Base’ function returns a 500 Error, meaning Hello Games has never seen a single one of those reports and the in-game ‘Block’ function just doesn’t work at all.” The troll has already been permanently banned, but many in the No Man’s Sky community have been expressing concerns that something similar could happen again.
