Borderlands Comics and Games owner Robert Young moved to Greenville and began working at the comic shop when he was only 21 years old. Two decades later, he got the chance to own it and recently expanded to a bigger location on S. Pleasantburg Drive.

It took 3 decades for the major-to-base repairs and enhancements to be done. By the time the new retail outlet opened in November, the price of the venture – such as the house – totaled $1.3 million. At 16,000 square feet, the new creating is pretty much four periods the sizing of the former location.

“I felt in my gut that if we could produce … someone described it as a office keep for geeks … If we could do that in a helpful, welcoming way, it would modify everything – in a fantastic way,” Young states.
